** RACE ACROSS AMERICA **

The Race Across America, or RAAM, is an ultramarathon bicycle race across the United States that started
in 1982 as the Great American Bike Race. RAAM is one of the longest annual endurance events in the world

Adrian Harris, Ultra Marathon Cyclist, from Tinton Falls, New Jersey successfully finished # 26 in 1994  Race Across America in part as a result of his Dual Action Seat use.

When it became too painful to sit on a regular racing saddle, he raised his handle bars and periodically switched to DAS to keep his momentum going.

Without his Dual Action Seat use he would have had to abandon his race.

For 36 years RAAM has been challenging ultracyclists from around the globe to push their physical and mental limits to the farthest reaches. Starting in Oceanside, under one of the longest piers in California, RAAM spans 3000 miles, climbs 175,000 feet, crosses 12 states and finishes at City Dock in Annapolis, Maryland, USA.
